Submit your favorite acronym for WRANGEL and the lucky winner could almost be the proud owner of this:

So, I'm not sure if I'm following this correctly, but I'm thinking that maybe you meant WRANGELL, as in ...

http://www.silversea.com/destinations/alaska-cruise/nome-alaska-to-nome-alaska-7816/

In which case, maybe something like:

We
Ride
Above
Nome
Gallantly
Engaging
Life
Lessons

I'm not on board for this trip - I just happened to have noticed the new Silversea itineraries today.

=======

Addendum: It looks like even the Silversea site has different spellings for the island. It looks like there's a Wrangell Island in Alaska, but also a Wrangel Island in the Russian Federation. So the correct one is probably this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrangel_Island

So ....

We
Ride
Above
Nome
Gallantly
Engaging
Life

Good catch about the spelling.

My suggestion

WRANGELL

WILD
ROAMING
ADVENTURE
NORTH
GREAT
EXCITING
LOCATION

If it is decided to use the one L spelling then delete the first L word.

I did notice that in the itinerary the spelling is with two L's.

It's confusing but we'll be spending three days at Wrangel Island in the Arctic Ocean. Wrangell Island and the small city of Wrangell are in southeastern Alaska. We visited Wrangell last May on EAGLE. So I think the cruise name should be WRANGEL. laugh

Here's another way to skin the acronym cat, and in honor of fellow San Diegans, Davefr, and Ted Geisel:

W Watching bears on Arctic ice,
R Rush with Russians once or twice.
A Aurora lights and zodiac,
N Now lose a day, then get it back.
G Google polar places please,
E Explorer, Regent's not; it's Silversea's.
L Luxury for such little dough.
L Look, there's Ngaire in the snow!

Oh the places you will go!

Loved your acronym BUT we have to put this on all the paperwork and tell people what it stands for so just ONE word per LETTER
Put that brilliant brain to work on this for me with that parameter.

Just FYI I contacted Silversea about their misspelling hopefully they will change to Wrangel. A big difference in these two destinations Wrangel, Russian Federation and Wrangell, Alaska.

I got so excited about this cruise I put 5 DAYS instead of 5 STOPS at Wrangel Island my apologies!

I vote for any acronym that includes "wanton" in the name.

Does anyone want to change their Wrangell acronym to Wrangel before I start the contest?
