Hangin in fine Kathy. We (Fullerton) are 3- 4 miles from epicenter and our house was really rockin and rollin. We've never had an earthquake hit so close to our home. This one seemed like it went for at least 30 seconds (seems much longer at the time). It was very scary.

We had pictures fall, a table top 24" TV hit the floor, lots of things tipped over, patio chair went down but no breakage or structural damage. We had plumber come out to fix hot water heater this afternoon. You never know how much you use hot water until you don't have it. 3 of our 4 pets are OK too, just can't get 1 of our cats out of the closet, the last hold out so coming close to dragging him out. I'm not going to resort to food or a litter box in my closet !

Numerous after shocks today, most are mild, a couple scary ones. We just had one a couple of minutes ago, a 4.1 and the epicenter of that one was in Brea where the youngest daughter Jill, son-in-law and 2 grandkids live. They do have some minor damage and breakage at their home.

All and all we're doing fine. Praying that others near by us stay safe.
Thanks for asking. wave

Yes, Denise & Dena are definitely feeling them as well, just not the same intensity since they're not in North Orange County. Guessing they both live about 15-20 miles South of our house. Luckily, they're both fine and no damage. This earthquake was felt all the way to San Diego.

Thanks, Marcie. Glad things are no worse!

Have a friend who lives in Menifee, the desert, so don't know if they felt anything.

Getting better around here...just minor aftershocks still occurring daily but nothing BIG and SCARY ! My sweet 90lb dog Charlie is still not back to normal, I may need a doggie shrink.
