Details on the pre cruise package from PG cruises to Moorea available for booking now. Hotel used is the Moorea Intercontinental. Beautiful grounds with the dolphin pool at the hotel where you can get in the water with dolphins (for a price of course)

Been a while since I have been there but this was the hotel I usually suggested.

Moorea pricing
The most logical choice is Moorea easy to go between these two islands and Moorea is bigger with more to do than the other islands.

For air/sea guests
3 night pre PER PERSON

$495 Lanai room
$825 Beach Bungalow
$1005 Beach Bungalow/ Premium
$965 Pool Bungalow
$1225 Overwater Bungalow
$1345 Overwater Bungalow/ Premium

For cruise only add $225pp
All prices are per person based on double occupancy
Subject to change once air schedule is released.

Expected itinerary
Aug 13 fly LAX/PPT evening flight
Aug 14 arrive Papeete in the early morning and ferry to Moorea
Aug 14 -1st night in Moorea
Aug 15 2nd night in Moorea
Aug 16 3rd night in Moorea
Aug 17 ferry Moorea to Papeete and board ship

If Air Tahiti Nui changes the flight to a day flight so you arrive late at night, then it would change to a 4 night pre package with 1 night at the Intercontinental in Papeete and then 3 nights at the Intercontinental in Moorea. In this circumstance the price will increase to include the overnight in Papeete

I have been getting emails asking if Ken and I are going to be doing this 3 day Moorea package. So might as well post here and clarify that we are NOT going to Moorea.

We did get FF miles with AA and only option was to fly in on the 15th arriving late in the evening. We will stay in Tahiti for the night of the 15th and 16th and then board on the 17th.

Papeete is nothing like beautiful Moorea but that is okay we have been to Tahiti 16 times we will just chill for that one full day in Papeete.

Ngaire, is there a pre-cruise package in Tahiti (Papeete)?

Here is the link for 2012 Tahiti and pricing. It will be just a bit more for 2013 I will find out and post here.

http://www.pgcruises.com/2012-10-night-pricing

I think Intercontinental is the best hotel and then the Le Meridien.
There is a Sheraton too but in a different area. The Radisson I am not that crazy about a black sand beach and HUGE can be miles to your room. It has been so long since I have been there things probably have changed a lot.

We are staying at the Le Meridien on Starwood points.

I will see what packages are available for Papeete for our cruise and post here.

I must be blind as a bat the 2013 pricing is there also. Here is the link above. Mininum of three nights to do a package with PG cruises.

The use the Intercontinental and the Radisson only

Remember everyone that the cruise we're doing is 11 nights not 10, especially if you are doing your own air.

Was just poking around the site and came upon this. We have booked the PG for the Cook Island cruise in June along with a 1 week pre stay at IC Moorea. This is our 3rd PG trip and our 2nd stay at IC Moorea. We can certainly recommend it - made arrangements through B&K utilizing the PG arrangement (air, cruise,IC, day rooms, transfers etc). It worked pretty well on our previous trips. The divers will love it!
