ORCA excursions are open for booking this Wednesday. Regent still doesn't have the final excursions or the PDF version of the excursions available. sad

This is no way to run a cruise line. wonder

If anyone finds the link to the PDF, could you please post. I need to download the PDF and then mail to my father before we can figure out what we want to book.

thanks,

Marc - You could try installing CutePDF Writer, it's free. Then you can save the Regent webpages as PDF files and send to your father.

$419 for thirty minutes of dog sledding waah waah

Where does Regent come up with these prices? wonder

Mark Conroy recently stated that Regent subsidizes the first $149 of cost; something smells fishy. waah

"Something smells doggie. I will pull a sled for one hour for only $225 and promise not to pee on anyone's leg when excited".

The above is from Tony Mondae to Marc - for those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting Tony here he is in all his glory/humor clap thumbsup

Responding to Marc regarding confusion in pricing....we are on the May 22 sailing and the Misty Fjords is priced as a Regent Choice meaning an upcharge yet the same excursion can be purchased from their supplier at the same price so not so sure 149 is credited to the psgr

After the pricing of the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Ma on Canada.. And now the wheel of fortune dog sledding price, I believe that Regent sometimes just throws numbers out there to make it look like a deal or they are subsidizing something Very Very expensive..

Frank, I never did learn what the story was behind the Peabody Museum tour. It was same price on ship; I asked about it; no one at destinations would say there was something wrong with the pricing. I wonder how many people took the tour.

Who Knows... Not a surprise you never got a good answer on that one. At least you actually got to Port in Boston, which is where you should of stopped in the first place...

An easy way to confirm that Regent is really not subsidizing $149 per excursion is to go Oceania's excursions and see the rates they are charging for the identical excursions

Tina, great idea!!! I am going to print them out to show Mark Conroy at Hee Haw. thumbsup

I will also print out his interview with Paul Motter when he mentioned the $149 rate. wink

Ngaire, don't worry, I will be better behaved. smiles

Lets not put Mark on the spot at Hee Haw we want him to want to come back if we do this again.

Send that in my email or mail to Regent. This will be out of his area anyway and he would just be forwarding it to the shore excursion department.

Ngaire, I would never put Mark Conroy on the spot. In fact, I have never emailed him or anyone else at Regent. And I am not going to complain to anyone except the destinations department onboard the ship. Regent, and PCH, are free to run their business in whichever manner they choose, and I am free to choose whichever provider I choose. So far, I have stayed with Regent so they must be doing something right. thumbsup
