I think my post started a rumor about waiting for stationary to be printed! No more tongue-in-cheek comments from me (at least for today!).

Do you think it could be because they have stopped using Radisson and need stationary with "new" name on it?

I finally talked to Rose today. The letters should be mailed in 10 days. According to Rose, I wasn't in the original mailing because RSSC had 2 accounts for me. One said yes to mail, one said no mail. When this happens, their computer always goes with the no mail. At this point, who knows what to believe? She did stress that they want to get everyone's information correct. On this go around I called yesterday & the call was returned today. Maybe things are starting to slow down for her. As others have said, she is very nice.

Beth, I just don't know what the hold-up is. I hesitate to speculate, as I may spread another nasty rumor ;)
I had thought about placing another call to Rose, but she may hang up on me for posting her name and phone number!

I just received an e-mail from Radisson informing me that they moved their corporate offices and giving me their new address. I find it amusing that they feel the need to communicate this to me but they are in no hurry to send me the Society benefits letter.

Who else received an issue of {eurostyle} from Radisson? At first, I didn't even know what the magazine was, I saw mention of Regent hotels so I looked at the cover letter that came with it and the sender was Radisson Seven Seas.

Robert, that's hysterical! (Since you have not yet taken a cruise) How did you qualify? Maybe they will give you those "days" for the cruise you cancelled, and WOW, you will get free internet sooner~

That is so funny! Who knows? Maybe tomorrow you'll receive snailmail on that fancy-schmancy stationary advising you that you've reached Platinum tier status!
OK, now...Spill it...Who are you hob-nobbing with to get such preferential treatment?

We got the "President's Cruise" mailing too - after our lowly 7 nights which we just did a month ago. Maybe they are sending this mailing exclusively to the up and comers!
I have to say, it was on very special, lovely stationary so I was starting to believe Denise's theory about the paper and the SSS tier program letter. (Which I didn't receive.)

For all of you (everyone who got the SSS letter?) who got the certificate for a one cat upgrade, flip the certificate over. It talks about the "Exclusive President's Cruise".

Yes, but Olivia has made all our gatherings. We've made them accessible from airports and ports!
We will definitely have to have one more Southern California gathering before MUSH

We had a very mini LCT gathering on Saturday night. Dena, her husband, Grant, her mother and her mother's friend, our friends, and Alan and I had dinner at a fantastic Persian restaurant Saturday night. We then went to see "700 Sundays" starring the incredible Billy Crystal. A wonderful evening!

A good time was had by all on Saturday! Billy Crystal is a marvelous performer and the story of his life was fascinating.
Olivia, c'mon, you could always move to Southern California so you don't miss out on anything...
Denise, when we were driving home, I remembered the Mark Conroy letter which I had salvaged from the recycling bin and carried in my purse Saturday night. I forgot all about it! It's 5 pages describing the "Grand Europe President's Cruise" - 14 nights Monte Carlo to Copenhagen - on Navigator departing June 3, 2006. Most of the letter contains details on the various ports. There is a complimentary Seven Seas Society Event which is cocktails on the London Eye. I joked about the fancy "paper" - the front of each sheet has a border of a maroon stripe pattern and the same pattern covers the back of each sheet. Probably more information than you wanted to know!
At least I have now received a mailing from RSSC!

Dena, It hadn't dawned on me to ask you, as we were so busy talking, eating and having a great time! Thanks for bringing it, anyway. The President's cruise is not doable for us. I was just curious to see the letter. Your description of the fancy-schmancy paper will suffice.
Doris, please don't be sad! I'm still waiting for my letter - and I was the first one to speak to Rose. I've given up on receiving it at this point.

I think you'd get a quicker response from the Tooth Fairy, Santa, and/or the Easter Bunny, Betty! They have a larger "clientele" than RSSC and they seem to manage quite well ;)
