I know we are small in number but would love to know everyone's plans. We leave the 27 for Oslo.
FF drama. To be honest I am looking forward to a few days in Oslo before the cruise. We are booked in the the Choice hotel Tromsoe but may change if everyone is staying at the Radisson. After the heat we have had here which is not normal(we call it "Cool Green Asheville" for a reason), I am ready for some chilly weather. Of course I will probably bitch and moan if it's rainy and windy. Humans are never happy about the weather. Pam of Jim & Pam

We're leaving the 26th for Copenhagen and will arrive in Tromso on July 30, staying at the Radisson.

Brayden and I are staying at the Radisson. We leave on 7/30 and arrive Tromso about 7pm ish on 7/31. We plan to do some touring on 8/1 and meet all for drinks and dinner in the Radisson bar that night. Really looking forward to this adventure.

Pam I think everyone is staying at the Radisson hotel, Ken and I are there also. So I would change if you can. We arrive in Tromsoe the night of 8/1 and look forward to seeing everyone.

Hopefully this link will work. It is a brief what I wish I had known comment before a recent Prince Albert II cruise to ARCTIC. Suggest all who are going on ARCTIC give it a quick read.

The following is a link to the Shutterfly share site that I created to document the ARCTIC trip with my grandson , Brayden. It works like the sharesite I am using to let all know the status of Carol. Please feel free to follow us and make what ever comments you would like to make. Not sure how good the internet connection will be but will give it a try. Brayden has a video camera so we may try to post some short video as well as some pictures. If Shutterfly does not work well I may link on the sharesite to a google site that can capture pictures. As you can see we are getting excited about this trip. We leave Friday. Good timing. Carol has had her last chemo for a while and the last radiation treatment is Wednesday. We also have a long time friend coming to stay with her while I am gone. Carol is almost more excited about our going than Brayden and I am.

We arrived to mid 80s temps in Copenhagen today for a good pre-Arctic trip. Go to Tromsoe on Friday so we're getting on the time zone and doing a bit of sightseeing. Tivoli tonight and Malmo tomorrow to visit Hamlet's Castle.

Thanks, all, for the good wishes.

Gary's been dangling long underwear and warm gloves in my face for the past few days. Umm .. this is not getting my toes tingling about packing. I took a deep breath, tore myself away from Mafia Wars, cleared out part of my closet and left while he magically shrunk the clothing into suitcases.

Olivia, we definitely need your Norwegian woods "isn't it good?" weather juju. A few days ago, we were looking at 5 days of snow and sleet near Longyearbyen for next week.

We are doing a charity walk for cancer on Saturday morning, followed by a 'neighbor meet my neighbor' brunch. half the team is from our PA neighborhood; the other half from our beach house. We take off late 7/31 and will be landing in Tromsoe at the Radisson Blu. Meanwhile, I have picked up a congested hack that would rival any lifelong smoker. I got the Sudafed from behind the counter as it helps crowd out the congestion.

I hear we will get to celebrate Jim's birthday with Pat. Can't wait to get there.

Cheers, Anne
