being new to this forum, I hope I am not repeating a question, but has anyone actually used the marina off the back of the pg? this is one of the many things we are looking forward to; we love to kayak; and I want to learn to windsail and waterski; just wondering how often one gets to use it, and if it is pretty consistently available, no matter what the port-

The sports platform is lowered when the Paul Gauguin is in port and is available to all passengers. This is of course subject to weather conditions. I have sailed a number of times and it has been available in most ports. It is used to kayak, windsail, and waterski, all of which are complimentary. Times are posted in Passages, the daily newsletter, which is on your bed every evening. The zodiacs also leave the ship to go out to the dive sites for scuba diving from the sports platform. Times will also be posted for when you can collect complimentary snorkle gear from the marina. You can also kayak and waterski on the Motu Mahana and kayak on the Bora Bora beach they offer.
