We made the final payment for out FP trip yesterday on our AMEX card (YEA). When I get to the gas station this morning and put in my card, what do I see? DENIED! Ugh. It seems that Regent likes our business so much they charged us TWICE. Still working to figure this out.

b2b? That'd almost be a WC.
It was actually a AMEX problem, not Regent. It took Christie, AMEX, TA, and Regent an hour and a half to get it squared away. Seems there was some backend problem at AMEX and that transaction went through twice.

Dave, glad that it is now cleared up. Last year when we paid our deposit for a non cruise trip we had problems with the web-site we were using. We ended up with 4 deposit charges instead of 1. We easily got it cleared up the following day when we were able to talk with a real live person. Since it was only a deposit it would not have maxed out our card. I can imagine how I would have freaked at the gas station had it been me instead of you this morning.

I was a little worried knowing that we had made the payment yesterday. Luckily I wasn't running on fumes.
We have also had the same problem with a hotel web site several years ago. I think we ended up with 5 rooms for the two of us. We actually didn't catch that until we had to cancel the day before we were suppose to be there.
