Alan wants the two of us to sign up for this excursion. With my fear of heights, I'm not sure, especially if it includes crampons and an ice axe. But, it would make a great article so I am very tempted!

To my knowledge no way to check your tour excursions until you board. I have asked this before with this same answer. However things are always changing so I will ask again.

I wish there was a way they could post a persons requested excursions on the internet and have made that suggestion.

The only thing on these hiking excursions that I can tell you is they are tougher than you anticipate. Ken is "tough" guy hiker type. He said the trip he took was pretty tough. He loved it because "he is Ken".

So if you are an experienced hiker and enjoy a challenge this could be for you. If you are not then just keep that in mind and make your own decisions. I know Leslie and Brad after their "Easter Island" experience can handle anything!

Me --- lovely little town and great huskies to visit.

Tom and I have signed up for this excursion. We do alot of hiking in the UK, but this looks like a challenge. Hopefully we will be up to it!

Cheers, Pam

Pam, Leslie and Andrea. Bring your rock/snow boots and a good sense of balance! I wasn't on the glacier walk last time, but I was on the one with Ken, and spent most of the time (along with many others) watching them trek to the top of whatever we were on. They were supposed to have a view of a glacier, but it was too foggy.

After having had only one one-week cruise in the last year-and-a-half, we are so looking forward to FJORDS and then PANDA!

We can't wait for the ROAR reunion and other new fun activites both in Copenhagen and aboard the Voyager.

Right now, I'm just itching to get on TAP! Fjords comes right on the heels of it, and I think I'm looking forward to that even more, because I get to be with my daughter! She must be jumping out of her skin to get back on the ship after a couple of years, as she loves them so much!

Marc editing to say that I am looking forward to our ROAR reunion as well!

Longest dry spell I've experienced since about the 2nd year I got "addicted". Sometimes land trips and weddings get in the way.

It's been a reallly long dry spell for us - since last April. That's what we get for using all our cruising days all at once!

I'm so looking forward to FJORDS and the opportunity to meet so many LCT'ers. And, this is my very first Ngaire escorted trip and I can't wait. Won't be long before they're welcoming us with that glass of champagne. :woh:

Lee Matey! It's an iron! Tony has volunteered to do our "pressing"!
I've been asked by someone on TAP to pack a case of Ensure for the FJORDers. They seem to think we'll need extra stamina for 14 days  :D

Thanks Suzie - wonder how I've managed to do without one all this time!

I'm showing my age again but 'Ensure' sounds like something an elderly person like me might need and I'm not thinking 'drinks'.

Lee: Tony is known as "iron man" - his Mom did good - taught him how to iron at ten?? My boys never knew how to turn one on they thought an iron was dry cleaners - my fault - with the Rowenta he steams away - I hear puff puff from next room -

I can't believe it is just one week until you FJORDS folks will overtake Copenhagen!

Please send us LOTS and LOTS of land and sea mail; you know how BOREDZZZZ we will be without you and also drooling from jealousy of not being there! ;)
