When LCT went down I lost a bunch of emails - (same server). Included in that grouping were the emails I received to book for Orbit restaurant. Each table will handle the bill for dinner with their waiter. Regular menu no set meal.
Orbit Restaurant December 2, 2007 6:30pm for 2 hour dining
(2) Alan and Donna (2) Jim and Jan (2) Chuck and Valerie (2) June and Brian (1) Sue (2) Sam and Shirley (1) David (2) Joanna and Tony (2) Tom and Marcie (2) Mark and Karen (2) Ray and Pat (2) Stephen and Elizabeth (2) Carol and Ralph (1) Betty (2) Judith and William (1) Arlene (2) Hutyra, Ken and Ngaire (2) John and Kathy (2) Don and Michelle (2) Ted and Catherine (2) Jack and Sue (2) Ray and Nancy (2) Dena and Peter
I do not put full names on a public board but you can all recognize yourselves.
I know some emails went missing so there will be some people not on the list. I am doing this from memory.
I will contact all my clients but some of the LCT people I do not know. If you want to be included and are not on the list please either post here or send me an email at keene@brownandkeene.com

If there's room, Don & I would love to come also.
Will be good to see you, John & Kathy. (They are new B&K/LCTers who are great fun!)

Plenty of room I just have to give them a head count about a month out. You are both on the list.

Ngaire, I forgot to ask, can each couple use a credit card for dinner or do we need NZ dollars?

Credit cards are fine. It is just like a normal restaurant.

I was assuming that each table might have to be one check.

Not sure how they will do it Karen, it may depend on the flexibility of the server. Just ask for each couple to have a separate check. There were no parameters on this issue and if you ask they come up with an answer we dont want. Makes them think about it and then you are "stuck".
Since we are all at separate tables it will function as it would for any other person eating in the restaurant.

I have found that by stating you wish seperate checks,BEFORE you order that it "usually" works. Normally when with friends its just a "split the bill".I really dislike,"well I only had this and you had....." However that would never happen here I bet, everyone sounds way to congenial.Ray and I can polish off a bottle of a good white wine by ourselves at dinner and maybe a tad more.
