Hi all...does anyone know of a good site to check out what the weather will be like for oct 21 sailing.....monte carlo to athens, with stops in sorrento, capri,rome,kusadasi....of course it is never to early to shop for the cruise and was just wondering what to bring...sweater, coat etc. Thanks for all your help :banana:

Clare, try this site , it should have best information. I think weather undergroun also has climatological information.

Can't give you a website for forecasts that far out, but I can tell you that the weather in that area of the Med at that time of year is highly variable. We spent 3 days in Rome last year in late Oct and it was very warm with pretty much clear skies. Weather in Livorno was warm with PM thunderstorms. Monte Carlo was very pleasant with temps in the 70s. Seas can also be very variable. I would recommend the layering approach and definitely bring an umbrella no matter what the forecast is. You shouldn't need any winter clothing; just sweater and light jacket type things.

Clare, we did a very similar itinerary last year. i brought along several wraps, pashminas etc. and that was all i ever needed for evening. during the day.....very warm. Also you can buy ALL the pashminas and other glorious wraps you need in Kusadasi. And i mean all you need. i brought back 20. all my friends were delighted! Enjoy your trip.

Amen on the pashminas in Kusadasi. I only bought about 5 of them, but if I went back I would get them in every color!
