Is there a way to find out what the entertainment schedule is prior to our departure? Can't look at the water all the time!

Welcome Loon! The only way I imagine would be to look at the ship's daily schedules that somebody that has done that same cruise recently has kept. I'm assuming that this is Bermuda?

For the most part, aren't the entertainers on contract through out the Bermuda schedule so it doesn't change week to week?? Not sure of that...

Hey, a Big Welcome to you!

Do you want general times of things - like team trivia and Afternoon tea is usually about 4pm amd the evening show is usually at 9:30ish? Parties are usually at 6?

Petlover,
I think you may be right. I hadn't realized that the entertainment probably was ongoing. Masaki, I did know that an agenda was printed up everyday and yes I am referring to Bermuda. BTW, I noticed you are from Hawaii. Which island? ChatKat, do they have trivia EVERY day? If so, this is going to be a great time!

Yes, Loon

They have Team Trivia every afternoon and a trivia contest everyday where you fill in the blanks in the library. Team Trivia is very fun. It usually follows afternoon tea time. Then followed by Bingo or Bingo can be before (not all ships have bingo everyday) The evening production show is generally about 9:30 and is almost an hour. Usually there is a dance production every other day. Then there are the enrichment lectures, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings etc. You can be busy all day or do nothing if you like. Varies by ship and location and sea day or not.

I thought Loon was asking for the names of the entertainers. These do change during the Bermuda season. It is never announced ahead and there are often last minute changes. If someone wants to know about a specific entertainer then a TA can call and ask if a person is planned to be on a particular cruise.

Loon - we're on Oahu ... lived one year on Maui but a little too "country" for my taste. :)

Only made it to one trivia session myself on our Navigator cruise but it WAS a lot of fun ...

Hey Masaki,
We got married on Oahu! Misconnected there this year on our way to Kauai. Can't believe all the changes in just a few short years. Lots of coffee bars, internet stuff, etc. Hawaii would be my second choice of a place to live. During our cold winters here it moves into first place. LOL!

Loon - during the winter in Minnesota, I'm sure you'd think about relocating! Where did you get married on Oahu?

Masaki - We actually got married next to the waterfall at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Not quite what I really wanted, but the entire trip was spent with my taking a bad fall at Pearl Harbor and my husband having a migraine, so we made the best of it. This cruise is for our 10 year wedding anniversary. As long as I don't fall, neither one of us gets a migraine and we don't encounter a hurricane, we're sure it will be a good trip.

I'm sure it will be! You've already proven that you can make lemonade out of lemons with that trip. Congratulations on your 10th anniversary!

Loon,
Last week on the Navigator the Peter Grey Terhune dancers/singers did three shows. They are a very talented group with a lot of enthusiasm. There was an excellent classical pianist one night and a pop singer another night...his song selection covered a wide span from Frank Sinatra classics to rock and roll. Another night the pianist and singer combined.

Evidently, they change fairly frequently. After reading about an excellent classical pianist and harpist on a mid/late May cruise, we were disappointed to find neither on ours 6/16.. The pianist onboard was fair, performed at Stars lounge, and at tea. The 2 singers were the same as on Masaki's the previous week and not overly impressive IMHO. We made our "donations" to the casino instead!
