Tami, the crew on the deck is not a problem for us. We do have to remember to close the drapes, :) but the most I've seen them was when we came through the Canal. :)

Thanks again, Betty. I'll have to remind Mike about the drapes, because he's used to the privacy of balconies and dresses (or not dresses!) accordingly when he's in the cabin!!

Today is another great relaxing sea day. We are loving it! Larry and I opted not to tour yesterday, just walked around the port area. All of the excursions were long and people were late returning. So we decided to try our luck at getting into Prime 7 without a reservation. We ran into Ralph in the hallway and persuaded him to join us. We got lucky and scored another dinner there. It was terrific. I had the crab cake to start and Dover Sole. Sooo darn good. What a wonderful cruise this is !!

Glad you guys are having such a hoot!
Since I'm embarking Navigator in a week, could someone remind me which lounge is used for Afternoon Tea and Trivia? Is it generally packed?

Wendy, we have trivia @ 4:30 in Gailieo's lounge. It is well attended most days, for some reason yesterday it wasn't...maybe people were on long tours. Karen and Mark have recently joined our team so it's lots of fun.
Last night we ate in La Veranda at large table for all 9 of us, it was outstanding!

Wendy, its Galileos lounge at 4:30 each day. Tea time is busy but then some people leave before trivia so it isnt too crowded. You will get to meet Navin, the BEST bar server on the ship with a smile that lights up the room and a personality to match!

Thanks Marcie--is afternoon tea held there at the same time, or is it elsewhere? (Trying to find a place to meet people.)
Nice to hear about La Veranda!

Thanks Karen, didn't even know there was a Coffee Corner on Navigator (the espresso machines were in the Navigator Lounge I think.) I like a nice decaf cap once in a while!
BTW, how are Navin's martinis?

Wendy, the coffe corner is still in the navigator lounge so it is the same as you remember. Navin is a bar server.... not sure if he mixes drinks? Franco is the D in Compass Rose abd the head waiter is Nuno. Together they make for a perfect dining experience. They are both so bent on making the night perfect and they never fail. We have been sitting in Wilsons section most evenings, i like keeping with the same server as he knows our quirks and just spoils us. Best foods items we have had so far are the filets, so flavorful. Everyone has been raving about both the beef and seafood. Escargot has been the best we ever had so we have special ordered it severaltimes. Best dessert so far has been what is called a chocolate teardrop which we had in la veranda.

GM Franck Galzy got on board yesterday overlapping a bit with Michael Coghlan. Franck will stay on board through the dry dock.
Yesterday in Acapulco we saw the cliff divers, unbelievable watching them dive from 14 stories high. Last night was Liar's Club, Gaileos was packed full. It was soooo much fun! Justifying since we turned the clocks back an hour, I stayed up till 1:00 in STARS with new friends. Today is a sea day which is wonderful after 3 port days.
Tomorrow we'll be in Cabo San Lucas. I'm going on a beach horseback ride followed by interaction at a ranch with farm animals. I finally won a bingo game...yippee!

The fun continues on FUN! Today we tendered into beautiful Cabo San Lucas. Larry and my excursion today was a Tequila tasting at a lovely resort restaurant. Where we happily completed the coarse and received an ;) "official certificate" stating such. Sadly, :( we are running short on cruise days, but you'll all be happy to know that, for now, we are funning on! :) I will wait until I am home to share photos. It is just too slow with my iPad.

We (me,Tom, Joanna, Tony & Ralph) had a very nice dinner with GM Franck last night. We go back to 2005 WC when he was assistant F&B so it was fun reliving days of past. He's a sweetheart and so good at what he does! Yesterday's horseback riding was fun. Nice rancher guy let me choose my own horse, a sweet pinto. One man was 88 and it was the first time he'd ever ridden a horse (no problem, just trail horses). The weather and beach were perfect. Today is Tom's birthday. :ch: We're having a pre-dinner party in Betty and Larry's suite. Here are a few pictures from the past couple of days. https://picasaweb.google.com/petlov...v1sRgCIP-sa7u7q796AE&feat=directlink

Toms birthday party was perfect! Cocktails in betty and larrys 600 cabin before dinner and a fun dinner afterwards. Lots of pictures but i cant upload until i get home :( we are sailing towards san diego at moment and we are due to be there in 5 hours. I am going to try and round up the ususal suspects for a scavenger hunt at 10am followed by an early bingo. It stinks to think that i will be home and doing laundry in a few days!

Fun birthday for Tom yesterday. We had fun cocktail party in Betty & Larry's room before dinner then a nice dinner for the 9 of us at our usual table in CR with Wilson (great waiter). The table was decorated with balloons and after dinner they served a delicious cake and staff all sang HB to him. Our suite was loaded with balloons attached to the ceiling last night and chilled champagne. Tom & I stayed up in STARS with new friends we've made on board. Another late night but taking advantage of our last nights on board.
We'll be in San Diego at 1:00, we're going to go on a 2 hour trolly car. Betty & Larry have their nephew coming on board. Tonight we're having dinner with friends of Ralph's, Brian & Cindy who live in San Diego and coming on board.
As we've all said, this cruise has been A+ with food, service, and our wonderful group!

Tom's birthday celebration could not have been more FUN! We will be in San Diego soon.
Ralph, Larry and I did the AMX kitchen and wine tour yesterday. Although we have done them before, it was pretty nice. Interesting facts about how much stuff it takes to feed a ship full of us. They said that they go through 30 cases of wine a day. Also that when they serve escargot, they use 30 lbs more of butter. hmmmmmm
I do agree with Marcie. The food this cruise has been overall as good or better than I can ever remember. Service is over the top too.

Just a report on the Donatello here in SF, since I know Karen at least will be here, as we check out to board on Tuesday. Very pleased with the hotel. Restaurant is very good too. Great location, although a bit noisy last nite (Saturday).
