We have just booked this cruise for next year. We plan to travel to Moscow at the end of the cruise and will be needing Visas. Any advice on where to obtain Russian Visas? Also-looking for recommendations for Moscow Hotel. Thanks

Because Silversea's 2006 brochure has not yet been released, I don't know what hotel packages they will be offering...or even if they will offer a hotel in Moscow. I know that Radisson offers the Hotel National in Moscow to their passengers so that might be worth checking out. Hopefully, someone who has stayed overnight in Moscow will offer suggestions. As far as where to go for Russian visas, many use Zierer Visa Service and I believe this is who Silversea recommends. Remember to apply for a "multi-entry" visa. This is a fabulous itinerary and you will enjoy your 3 days in St. Petersburg -- it's wonderful!

When we used Red October for our tour, they arranged our Visas for us and just asked for the appropriate paperwork from us. It was easy.

MileHiCruiser, you might want to consider doing this cruise instead, also in 9/06 and goes to St. Petersburg, but ends in Amsterdam.

This cruise just went on as a Silver Sailing and is 2 more days and a 10% Venetian Club sailing as well.
