I know that one of the major complaints about Regent is the high single supplements. I just received an e-mail from Silversea listing seven cruises that have single supplements as low as 5 percent. I then went to the Silversea Web site for more information and found this listing of cruises with single supplements of 5-25 percent. I don't know if these are new or not, but I thought that it might be useful to post the link. Low Single-supplement Cruises . --------------- Eugene

Maybe because they have more ships to fill? Hopefully these single incentives will return to Regent one of these days.

I booked one of the low supplement cruises - March 13, 2011 Barcelona to Istanbul on the Wind. This will be my first Silversea cruise and my first solo cruise. So glad to read that Silversea takes good care of their solo cruisers.

The cruises listed do not necessarily have a low single supplement, unfortunately. Checked last week for a friend of Miss Lynn about the Silver Spirit Rome-FLL in Nov 2013. It's a B2B. The supplement for the Rome-Barcelona portion was 150% and the crossing was 125%.

My Spirit cruise in April 2012 FLL to Lisbon was originally a 125% SS but they reduced it to 105% and I got a hefty refund!!

It seems that they're concentrating more on the 2012 cruises with this reduction. Miss Lynn is still hoping you'll join all of us for the Nov 2013 crossing aboard Spirit, David. She really enjoyed cruising with you.

Doug, David is booked on our Spirit 2013 fall crossing, pls see his CC post from late December below:
We now have 16 folks signed up (including four couples from our maiden Spirit crossing in 2010 (y'all, Dieter & Debbie, David & Betsy, us)
and four of us from last November's xing (David, Steve & Barbara, y'all, us). Believe Dieter/Debbie is seriously considering joining Lynn, u, Ida and I for the Rome to Barcelona segment prior to the cross.
Gonna be another terrific Spirit Crossing!

Wes: I cancelled my Nile trip some time ago. Looks as though it was the right thing to do!
But I have booked this X-ing...Cabin 656. Same as before so you know where to find me!
