A "footnote" on my OneSole purchase today. I wore the shoes around the house for about an hour, then my feet really started to ache. Luckily I was able to return them to the store with some convincing. I really did want to like them, but wedge heels just aren't for me. :(

Oh Beth I have the sandals with the low heels - mine are not the wedge type. Was the wedge heel the only type the store offered - you should order online as they offer many choices.

Sue, The wedge was the only style the store had in my size. I am apprehensive to buy online, as I'm not sure how the other styles will feel on my feet. After today, I dare not go back in that particular store when the lower heels arrive.

I bought my onesoles this week, too (size 8 with a medium top worked perfect for my narrow feet.) It's the one with a slight heel - guess that is the wedge? It came with the black top plus I got to choose one. Then, there was this other one I just had to have. I bought them at a local boutique as the price wasn't any different and I like to support local stores. They had a pretty good selection of tops but I'm sure I'll be ordering more online. Of course once I got the shoes home, guess what I need next? Outfits to match the shoe tops! I should have seen that coming.

I'm on the road for the next 10 days but when I get back, I'll take a picture and post. Really pretty tops!

Sorry yours didn't work out Beth. Maybe you'll find a local store that carries another style.

Donna, The shoes I purchased were the higher wedge. Wilson is kind of small, so local owners don't want to duplicate products others carry.

The store yesterday made me feel so bad about returning the shoes, I'll have to go out of town, if I decide to look elsewhere.

Beth - sorry they didn't work out for you. I have the cork wedge, and love it, then also ordered a lower one, but its not a true wedge, it has sort of a rounded heel. I agree try looking online, if only to see the different styles, and see what their return policy might be.

I wish they would make a true wedge, only lower, maybe 1 1/2 inch, but so far it doesn't appear that they have that, just the 2 1/2 inch in black, cork or pink.

I'm sorry, too, JoAnn. Thanks for the tip. I may try the lower wedge.

I found some today at a small boutique close to where I live. I had seen on the website that they carried the sandals, so I stopped in; immediately recognized one of the owners from a store she used to have that I shopped in all the time. I bought the lower (1 1/2 inch?) and the slightly higher (2 1/2?), and she gave me two extra tops for each pair. She said that if I see something I like on the website, she'll order it in for me and I won't have to pay shipping.

They have a tiny little Yorkie; she jumped up and greeted me like I was her best friend ever, and wasn't happy until I picked her up. They said she had never reacted to a woman that way, and only a few men. I don't have any animals at home, and haven't been to Sonja's in weeks, so she wasn't smelling that on me. She was a cutie, though, all two pounds of her.

Hope you enjooy your onesoles Pam. I have both heights as well. :)Thats the norm, you always get a plain black or brown top, then get two free ones of your choice. There are a lot of options, and on the website they will actually custom make whatever you want.

Ray was kind enough to take a picture of my onesoles. Here's what they look like:

Editing to add: Buying the tops can become quite addictive. I don't think I'm saving any money!
