I just went to the store and purchased the brand new release "The Beatles - The Capitol Albums Vol. 2. The four-CD set includes The Early Beatles, Beatles VI, Original Soundtrack-Help!, and Rubber Soul (my favorite album). The set also includes a fantastic book filled with awesome photos of the Fab Four.

I am listening to it, as I type and post this, and am in Beatles bliss!

I used to collect Beatle bootlegs thirty-two years ago when I was a teen. "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" (years before it was released legit), "Haut As Sun" aka "Five nights In a Judo Arena - The Beatles Live in Tokyo", "The Get Back Sessions", etc, etc. Even attended the first Beatlefest in LA 1976.

In 1979, on my first trip to London I was introduced to and became close with a gentleman named Geoffrey Ellis, who'd been legal counsel for NEMS Ltd., the company owned by Brian Epstein (manager of The Beatles up until his death in 1967). When I met him (at the scandalous age of 19 ;) ), I was certainly enthusiastic to learn about the "dish" from those old Beatle days. Wish I could tell some of the "juicy bits", but I don't want to get entangled with or hurt anyone who might still be living!

I've been a HUGE fan of the Beatles since 1964. I've been to three of their concerts in NYC. My Beatles album collection is very extensive. Yours sounds incredible!

I would absolutely love to hear those "juicy bits!" I promise not to tell (doo dah doo!).

At one time I had an awesome collection of British magazines, Beatles cards, figurines, posters and audio tapes from their first visit to NYC. They were radio guests of a very popular NYC DJ, Murray the K, whose show was on WINS radio. He was considered the 5th Beatle. I taped all their conversations. My sister, unfortunately, got hold of those tapes and taped Country/Western music over it! I was devastated!

I have an original London fan club postcard with all 4 signatures. I would dearly love to have it authenticated to find out if the signatures are the real deal. I may take the postcard to London next month and find a reputable place to verify authenticity.

The new release is fantastic and I am loving taking many, many walks down memory lane with the
Fab Four!

I'm a die hard fan, even though I was born near Pepper time! I actually own the vynil of most the beatles records, from either my parent's collection or my uncle's old collection. I do have the original Help! soundtrack!!!
