Not sure where to put this but this heading may cover many aspects of 2007.

Churchill - Polar Bears
I have been in touch with about four tour operators (both the ones Marc suggested along with two more) and the plans and pricing for the 2007 season are not really in place yet. So these companies will contact me once the plans are set with a suggested tour and pricing for the group. I have asked for a 7 - 8 day program with 3 - 4 full days of Polar Bear viewing. Travel day up and travel day back makes six days with the four days of viewing. There are some other interesting things in this area but I think we all want to focus on the bears. We will see what options they offer. The tour commencing in Winnipeg with round trip flights to Churchill, hotel based accommodations for the first week in November. I will see what programs they all come up with and the pricing and then compare and make a recommendation. Just wanted you to know that I am working on this it is not forgotten.

As soon as the 2007 schedules for Radisson come out we can look at that and see what is best. I do know that I am going to escort the British Isles which should be early September. I have had emails with people wanting a Norway cruise and also a Med cruise. We just need to see dates and pricing to see if there are any compelling dates.

We aren't 100% sure of what we might want to do. Waiting to see the schedule. Thinking Baltics or Australia, but, maybe a Med or even a Carribbean depending on dates and cost.

We're way over our travel budget for 2005/2006 with three cruises on tap and two big trips we took in 2005, but, who knows what tomorrow will be - we want to travel while we are able.

Would love to take a Dubai to Egypt cruise in 2007, but they always end up during our busiest time of the year. (Jan. - Apr.)

We, too, are looking towards 2007 travel plans - either British Isles or Med itinerary, which would include embarkation or disembarking in Monte Carlo.

We have our wish list ready. Now we await RSSC's 2007 schedule and pricing.

Editing to add - Ideally, we'd like to sail in the early fall.

Kathy: Go for it, girl! When you get to be 80 and 90 it gets kind of dicey planning ahead <img border="0" alt="[vhappy]" title="" src="graemlins/icon_vhappy.gif" /> I only wish we had started all this fun 30 years ago. Course, we did cruise on Sitmar (I forgot!).But never with such wonderful crazy people as LCTers!

Waiting here as well for the 2007 schedules. We can only cruise in the summer months so that does limit somewhat what we can do.

We would consider Norway or Med. I wonder if they are going to keep the Navigator in the Med during the summer or will it do again the Baltics like Voyager?

Ngaire:

Thanks for checking on the Polar Bears. Anyhting we can do to minimize vacation time to five days (e.g., Saturday to Sunday or Sunday to Sunday) would be appreciated.

We look forward to seeing British Isles schedule; we talked with my father about their joining us for this trip, too.

Ngaire, great to hear that you are thinking seriously about the British Isles in 2007. We'll be checking that out, for sure.

Yes, I do know the Navigator will be in the Med for 2007 so that is good news. I do like the idea of making the polar bears shorter too Marc and just one work week out.

Going on the Hanseatic in January to Antarctica about 30 of us are already booked for that. No changing those plans I am so excited about going to South Georgia and back to the Antarctica Peninsula.

ACtually I have 34 fully confirmed bookings with two singles on a waitlist. There are 12 of my clients that are not LCT.
