Over on the cc Crystal line, there is an interesting topic going and I was wondering if any of you would have any opinions about Radisson's ships along the same line -- if you could add or change anything to any or all of the ships to enhance your cruise experience, what would it be?

One thing that appeals to me would be to give my bottles of in-room beverages to the bar so that more people would be out and about at cocktail hour and allow more socializing. Other than that, I think the RSSC experience is perfect for us!

I agree with Kathy. We almost never drink in our cabin. I think they need a new ship or two. As others have suggested, we will soon be very limited with only three ships to choose from and limited iterarys. Other than that, I also agree that RSSC is a really good fit, for us.

I love the post that offers that the reason Crystal doesn't offer free wine at meals is that they don't want to attract problem drinkers to the cruise line.

I would add clocks to the rooms.

A new ship that is a bit bigger than the PG, but smaller than the Voyager/Mariner with about 500 people with two basic room types. One type of room like the Voyager basic room and another type like the Penthouse suite layout on the Mariner, with the bigger deck for those who want more room. There should, I guess, also be the usual Master and Owner's suites. It should be as smooth as the Mariner, with the coffee bar set-up of the Voyager and a beautiful dining room like the Diamond. Flat screen tvs and DVDs in every room too. And all of you on the ship with us!!

A Nobu restaurant like Crystal.

And what Karen said!! I would like Tahiti and Hawaii. It would be great to start in NY and/ or LA and go directly to French Polynesia for a week. Then do a tour of all the Hawaiian islands for a week. Spend a few days in Hawaii or FP pre-or post cruise. Then fly directly back to NY and / or LA. This would be about a 2 week cruise. Just perfect.

Andi, I think Radisson should hire you to plan the next ship and it's itinerary!

All inclusive on wine, beer and hard liquor with no bottles in the room.We enjoy all inclusive resorts even if you have to pay a bit more up front.
I love the idea of a ship in the South Pacific with staterooms like the Voyager. I would prefer 400 or 500 passengers instead of 700.A swim platform like the PG would be nice so that you don't have to go out on another boat when you are anchored in that beautiful water.It is nice to jump in for a short swim.

Another vote for all inclusive booze, no in room set-up.

But, I would vote for a smaller ship (under 300 )that would do the more "exotic", lesser traveled itineraries.

-A new ship! (preferably Voyager class)

-Ditto on FP/Hawaii itinerary

-Ditto on all-inclusive, no in room set-up

-More distinctive amenities for higher end suites.

-An improved, more carefully selected premium wine list perhaps with a tie-in to the Wine Spectator ratings and reviews.

-A real sushi bar open 4-6(?)pm every day

-upgrade to satellite communications, providing higher speed internet access

-upgrade in-room entertainment systems and content
delivery

-changes to the Gold Points program so that you earn points on every cruise, including two-for- one cruises. (Existing policy makes no sense, IMO).

-make more of an effort to have better "linkage" between cuisine and cruise itinerary when and where possible.

-clone Kenny Smiles so that he can be on all the ships at the same time!

I too vote for an open bar, and a smaller ship, perhaps 500 maximum. Lots of balconies, at least three dining alternatives.

Perhaps I should apply, as well. My background had been in Human Resources, Marketing and Sales for many years. I am now employed in the Hotel/Travel/Tourism industry.

I just thought of something else to put on my wish list, webcams on the bows of the ships!!
