Marc and I enjoyed a wonderful evening tonight with Tom Giusto who is here on business. We had a terrific dinner topped off with Belgian Waffles for dessert. Some pics.....

Hi Arlene, when are you and Marc returning home?

Hi Andi, We closed on our house yesterday!! We will arrive back in the states (Huntsville) on Juky 28th. This weekend we are having our "Clean out the Bar & Pantry" Psrty and next week the preparations for the move will begin in earnest....not looking forward to that again to say the least. This will be the 4th time in 4 years so we are really looking forward to getting settled for a while.

Well Arlene and Marc certainly have more energy than I. Those five beers put me right to sleep when I got back to my hotel.

It was so wonderful to see them. They treated me so nicely. It seems like we talked all night.

The Grand Place was so beautiful. Even the Secretary of Defense came by for a stroll.

Aside from seeing Marc and Arlene the best part of the evening was the dessert of Belgium waffle with dark chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

And Joanna, Marc and Arlene are sending back a little surprise for you, if I can get it to you without eating it.

Karen, yes it all comes by boat...do you remember seeing the big shipping containers sometimes in the docks near the cruise ships? They bring one right up to our house. They load it up just like they would a big truck. Then that is trucked to Antrwerp and sent by ship from there. It should leave here about the 20th or so of July and we will probably have it in Hintsville by the end of August. Probably more than you wanted to know but there you are!

Shoot, if we had just visited you in each country you lived in, we would have had another world tour under our belts.
