I have the original ipad - 64g - and it is about half full. I am an incorrigible app collector and they take up a lot of space. I have wifi only since if I need a 3G connection I just use my iPhone.

We will be winging our way to Egypt when they announce the new one so I will have to wait a few weeks to investigate.

No word on the pricing of the iPad 3 as yet, but reports have it priced a bit higher than iPad 2.
If you have a Discover card and are willing to order it through the Apple store online.... use the link at the Discover website and get 5% back. I'm sure that other cards have similar offers, too.

Well I finally did it, broke down and after all these years entered the Mac world and left the PC world behind. Boy this mac is going to take some getting used to as it is so different from a PC, but so far so good.

Ralph I couldn't get a pink one they only come in aluminum.

Marc,
I agree with you. I purchased an iPAD2 about a month ago, and it was an adjustment, but I am learning and it will be great on trips.

Suzanne, Pretty funny!

Eugene

P.S. I really wish that I hadn't opted for the largest iPad 1 when they first came out. Today, there were great reviews in both the Washington Post and the New York Times for the new iPad, but I can't justify it.

I ordered the new I-Pad for Penny and I'll take over her first generation I-Pad. Well, I may be wishing I'll have the old one but envision grandkids drooling in anticipation.................

Cheers! Ray
