Is anyone a member of or know anything about CLEAR?

Here is a link to their site.

Pros/Cons or general thoughts?

I got the mass email, but it is available at so few airports around the country, just not worth it for me! I'm sure in time as the number of airports increases, it may be of value to business travelers. Just not me at this time!

SPG gave me a free year membership with Clear, but I did not do it since from the last few times I have traveled I have seen the lines at Clear and Elite member lines be about the same, and like Olivia said it only at a few airports.

If Clear is available at the airports you use and you don't have elite status or fly first class, then you probably would save time with it. I have never seen a line at Clear since so few people use it.

All it amounts to is that you're paying a fee to cut the line. You still have to go through the same security screening as the other passengers. You just don't have to wait in line to get to the mags. Tom.

I've had for the last year and a half - compliments of Hyatt. Whether its worth it depends on your flying pattern and airports you fly from.

From CVG, our home airport, its 50/50 as to whether Mark (Delta Elite) or me (Clear and Delta Elite) make it through the security line first. Other airports that have it seem to be similar if you have access to Elite line anyways.

A plus for Clear is that they usually have an agent help you with bins for shoes / laptops etc so you're not juggling so many different things with 2 hands.

A big drawback is that they've recently cut their operating hours back a lot - only operating during business travel hours.
