For the various 2 for 1 cruises in 2006 and/or 2007, can you use other discounts such as onboard booking, goldpoints or B&K discounts?
Thanks,

Maria,
On my March 13th Mariner 2 for 1 with my daughter I received the onboard booking (for myself, not her as she was not on the ship), received a B&K discount, plus the AmEx platinum benefits. You do not receive Goldpoints for the cruise and I am not sure if you can use the points/$ towards the cruise.
Cheers, Pam

Absolutely correct Pam. The only two things that a 2 for 1 does not qualify for is the accumulation of gold points or if it is combined with another sailing 2 for 1 cruises do not qualify for the back to back combination credit.

Ngaire, aren't the Baltics 2 for 1 sailings different? There, no other discounts apply, right?

Yes, Marc, any SUPER specials short time only type cruises can all have different parameters. These dont happen very much but do come along.
I am ONLY talking about the normal 2 for 1 cruises that are available in the Caribbean, crossings etc.

Thanks for the responses.
Are they allowing at least the goldpoints off the Baltics 2 for 1 that they are currently offering? Or is the "bottom line" 50% off the brochure price?

What are the current back to back discounts please? They used to be great. I believe that they are not as good now?

5% combination credit for combined voyages except not applicable to highly discounted fares such as 2 for 1 or super specials like the recent Baltics.
I dont have that flyer with me at home but I think the Baltics special is not combinable with anything. Some allow AMX, some dont, I just cant remember off the top of my head.
