i got hooked on Paul Gauguin in 2000. i've spent at least 7 weeks cruising with that wonderful bunch of people since. now it feels like my home away from home. i love to snorkel, can it get better than French Polynesia? my heart is always there!
i've also branched out and sailed the Mariner, Navigator, and fabulous Diamond. Voyager is coming up next month. pretty much makes me a Radisson addict. i've even been lucky enough to get the old salt award at a couple 7 seas parties.
it's the people that make a great cruise, so i look forward to meeting you all!

Hi Gay Rie! We'll miss you on our SS cruise in December, but I know you are a crusing addict and have lots of places to go and people to see - you are taking a "blues cruise" as I recall....
Good luck!

Welcome Gay Rie! I think I already remember you from the other board!
Masaki, I am the butterfly person. Doesn't hers look more like a fish (maybe)?

Olivia, I am glad you don't see a butterfly, either. After Masaki posted that, I looked and I looked at splish's avitar and for the life of me, couldn't see a butterfly. Now that you mention a fish, I can see a fish!

Guys, it's a butterfly fish ... :) I'm from Hawaii, remember ... I'm used to seeing tropical marine fish. To be more specific, splish's avatar is a Chaetodon auriga, the Threadfin Butterflyfish ( web page ). For our next course in marine biology, we'll be reviewing the different types of echinoderms. I'll be expecting all of you to read the relevant chapters in your textbooks. Masaki

Masaki, thanks for handling the butterfly questions for me! this particular butterfly fish resides in Bora Bora, taken on my Oct. 2003 PG trip.
Hi Glenda! Yes, i am addicted to cruising - so i will probably meet up with you sooner or later! that December date just wasn't working for me since my blues cruises (Sandy Beaches and Legendary Rhythm & Blues) are both in January this year.
JHP, Petlover, Karen, and everyone.... i was on "the other board", so i'm pleased you recognize my name and so very happy to be here. i'm not known for my frequent post, but i lurk alot! my past 2 RSSCruises were highly enhanced by the folks i met on CC, so i hope the experience will continue on LCT. if i had my way, i'd meet all ya'll while cruising! MINT is looking good, but i wanna get Capt. Dag's under my belt first.
Happy Travels! ~ Splish

Just opened this thread for the first time in a while. Boy did Masaki put us in our place with the butterfly thing! I should have known better than to think he would think it was a butterfly. After all, because of his cc moniker and occupation, I certainly hope he can tell the difference between a liver and a spleen! Masaki, do those things look alike?
Splish, hope you will come on MINT if you can swing it! I completely understand your wanting to get Capt. Dag's under your belt, if you are talking about the Norwegian Fjords!

Olivia - livers and spleens do have a different texture and appearance if I remember correctly. My surgical rotation was a while back. :)
Splish - hope that you can make MINT as well.
