Hi Gerianium,

Welcome to Luxury Cruise Talk. The Navigator is a wonderful ship. It never feels crowded.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have on the Boards - we love to answer them. There is frequently someone on board the ships who post from the ship so we can get up to date info.

Welcome Geranium
Everyone on this board is very helpful and reading the seamail lets you travel without leaving your desktop.( although my DH now wonders why I am planning trips for up to 10 years from now. grin.)

Welcome Geranium.
I see you live in the UK. Always nice to have someone from outside of the US onboard.
The 2 for 1 and free flight sounds like a great deal. You will like the Navigator!

A warm welcome to you, Geranium! Always a pleasure to greet a new LCT member! I hope you will post often. I know you will love your Baltics cruise on the Navigator. We cruised the Baltics last year and it was an incredible cruise!

Yes, you will be very spoiled and thoroughly enjoy every moment of it!

Thank you Masaki - we loved the beautiful islands of Hawaii - it was our honeymoon, so what a marvellous start to married life! I so hope we get to go back one day - but it is a real hike from the UK! When we've won the lottery we will be moving out to live there!
I've just been reading your review from your trip on the Navigator which has so much helpful info - thanks!

Well, in that case, congratulations on your honeymoon! I'm glad that you've been enjoying that review - many of the crew on the Navigator at the time of my review are now on the Voyager and I believe that the executive chef on the Navigator at that time (Quinn McMahon) is now on the Mariner. But I'm sure from the recent reviews of the Navigator that the current crew is just as good or even better than what I had so you'll be fine. It's a big step up from NCL to RSSC - you'll love the difference! Let us know if you have specific questions!

Hi Geranium,

The Navigator is a fantastic ship. Just today my husband and friends that went with us in our first Naviagtor cruise were remembering what a great cruise that was ( Alaska). We cruised aboard Navigator again last year to Norway and it was great!

Enjoy your cruise and welcome!

Hello - I've been reading this forum and decided it was time to join.
We are Jan and Fred. Fred is a geologist with a consulting practice and I'm retired from the computer industry. We have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

We began cruising in early 90's and discovered the original small ships of the Renaissance Line. We really loved them and sailed several times including the best one from Athens to Hong Kong. After they went under, we found Radisson(Regent) and while the ships are bigger (700 vs 116) we enjoy them.

We've taken the grandchildren on the RCI' ships but would not sail with them if it were just the two of us.

We have been on cruises with some of you including last year from Reyjkavik to Copenhagen including the extra special experience of the ice pack!

We are booked on the Grand Circle of the Pacific this year starting in September. I've seen several posts from some of you on some of the segments and will probably be posting some questions.

Looking forward to sharing the wonderful world of cruising with you.

Hello! My name is Cherise, and I have been reading your forums for a few months, so I thought I might need to register. My husband and I are trying to decide which Regent ship we want to try first, and I am acquiring so much knowledge from all of you!

Oh, thank you! I think we might decide to try Alaska first. It would be closer for us, and I have heard that the scenery there is breathtaking. Maybe in 2008.

Welcome, Cherise! You've come to the right place for cruising/travel information!

We've cruised with Regent for five years and find the Voyager to be our favorite ship. Actually, you can't go wrong with anything Regent! Alaska was our first Regent cruise, aboard the Navigator. It was an incredible itinerary and the ship is first-rate!

Hope you enjoy your time spent on LCT and will post frequently!

Welcome Cherise! Love the avatar! If you're looking for Alaska, then you're probably going to be looking at the Mariner. We just came off of our group cruise to Alaska a few months ago so there may be useful information in that section (MUSH) for you to look at. :)

I am sorry it took me several days to get back here, family called.

I have managed to read a few posts in the Mush area, and there is a lot of wonderful information there. I am going to read some more, and I know I will have some (probably dumb to you seasoned cruisers) questions.

Thanks again for the nice welcome.

Welcome on board Cherise. Don't worry. There is no such thing as a dumb question at this site.
Make sure you check out one of Ngaire's escorted cruises. Boy are they a great time. Take a wonderful cruise line, and add on the meeting of so many wonderful LCT'ers and WOW. :lct: :lct:
