I can highly recommend "Hotel Lotti" in Paris. Perfect location - just down the block from Place Vendome and off the Rue Rivoli. Ask for the deluxe room. About 260 E. Lovely

Thanks for that! I am planning a land trip to Paris/London in Apr with my young nieces and just beginning to ponder where to stay. ------------------- Helen

Helen, Last year we stayed at the InterContinental Le Grand. Accommodations, service and public areas were impeccible. It's a beautiful property! http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ic/1/en/hotel/parhb?&

Thanks Denise. I will check that one out as Hotel Lotti shows no rooms available for my time frame. Oh well. ----------- Helen

The Lottie is a great hotel... if it is booked try The Regina Hotel...it is right across from the Louvre ( same area) and wonderful. Also the Hotel Napoleon ( HotelNapoleonParis.com) they both offer wonderful packages also, so check at their websites.

We like the Victoria Palace. Price points are a bit lower than the other hotels and it is truly a small, boutique hotel with large, charming rooms, nice marble bathrooms and excellent service. Located on the left bank between St. Germaine and Montparnasse. It has a lovely breakfast room and cozy, elegant lobby. I can highly recommend the hotel and my experiences there have been delightful. I've been there over 10 times in past 4 years with no issues.
