I may have biz trip to SIN at the end of April. Amongst my corporate approved hotels are the Pan Pacific and the Regent...any thoughts/ opinions on which is better? I get about the same corporate rate at both $150.00

I'm actually leaning towards the Regent, given all the cruising I've done Regent ships...will any of those goldpoints get me anything there, I wonder?

We stayed at the Pan Pacific 20 years ago (gosh - that sounds like so long ago). It was a beautiful hotel -- however, it is a very long walk to the central area. I'm not certain where the Regent hotel is -- I would think that it is more central than the Pan Pacific (you may want to check out a map of hotels in Singapore). Have a great time!

Thanks Travelcat! I believe the Regent is more central/closer to Orchard Road. I'm leaning heavily towards it still ;)

Stayed at the Regent Hotel in Singapore and it was a fine hotel, located just a couple of blocks from Orchard Road and within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens, which are a must see. The tourist bus is also just a couple of blocks away as well. Enjoy.
