I don't remember any of those which I have visited. I just go in, shed a tear, or whatever, and leave. There are several poems and notices which I remember ;-

"Will depositors at this bank kindly refrain from leaving their change on the counter."

"If you tinkle when you sprinkle plese be neat and clean the seat."

" If here you come to heed nature's call
don't start writing on the wall.
If it's here you come to show your wit
you only shine where others....."
In the old days in England, when we had to put a
penny in the slot to use the sitdown variety, there was a remark posted by someone - "Here I am brokenhearted , I paid a penny and only fa...d"
