Packing for a long trip isn't that hard unless...you have multiple climates! On the 2008 trip I don't think we will have that problem as we will be close to or south of the equator most of the time. With the laundries and dry cleaning available, it is easy to get "clean clothes". Formal nights...just bring mix and match..I take a pair of black silk pants and several tops. On the longer trips, we see the same formal/informal outfits more than once...and no one cares! We are all having so much fun and laughing with each other that we don't worry too much about wearing something more than once. Layering also helps when you need a little extra warmth.

I do admit, however, last year on our 96 day Grand Asia, I started with 8 suitcases and came home with 11! But we had fall, winter, spring and summer on the trip!
