Jim, Don't forget that it's almost winter in Europe. It's been unusually warm for this time of year. Turkey & Greece have been in the low 70s this year but ordinarily would be in the low 60s for highs and it's the rainy season. It's a pain to have to pack for both warm and cold weather.
