We were waitlisted for about six weeks and cleared last Wednesday, tho we're in GTY now.
We're booked on the Silver Explorer for Cape to Cape, then Cape to Zanzibar (East Africa) next March. So this Voyager Shining Capitals of West Africa will be a nice book end on our visit to Africa in 2022. Frustrated in March 2020, due to Covid, was stuck on the Silver Cloud for five days off the Capetown pier. The South African government finally cleared us, but to go directly to the airport--so never got to see Capetown but from the Cloud's deck and the jet's window.
Looking forward to cruising with Jim and Jan and few other roll call members that I have enjoyed reading their posts for the last decade plus.
