We had two land trips booked for this fall; Central Europe in September, India/Nepal in November. Both now canceled by operators. For each trip we had the outbound booked on AA using miles, return on BA with Avios plus taxes

Called AA, connected right away, miles redeposited, no fees.
AA taxes refunded, but still waiting for BA tax refund on an Aa booking.

Confusing policies re BA, But I booked before their new voucher policy. Seems there is a long hold to call, and then you need to argue your case.

Anyone have recent experience in canceling a booking and getting Avios redeposited and the tax refund?
