Interesting article on the impact of the Volcano eruption on the Big Island. Apparently, Volcano National Park is now closed. The article does not say when it will reopen. FYI, pls see below:

If you have chosen the Volcano National Park Odyssey excursion, it may not be available during our voyage. Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park announced the park would remain closed until further notice.


However, our voyage is five+ months away, so the park could reopen.

We are booked on this excursion and will call Regent to change on Monday.
