We are in Sydney waiting for our QF flight to Tokyo at 9:30pm ( we flew down from Brisbane a few hours ago ) It's a 9 1/2 hour flight so we should get some sleep. From there we will fly to Sapporo and stay at the airport hotel, meeting up with some of the group.
Fortunately for us, although in hours it's a longish trip we will have no jet lag.
