Here's a few things we are considering. We haven't done them, so we can't provide a recommendation based on experience, but at least they are things you can consider.

McKinley Flightseeing from Denali - operates from Healy Airport near Denali Park as well as from Talkeetna
Jeff King\'s Husky Homestead Tours If you are interested in sled dog racing, Jeff is a champion Iditarod racer

We have been to Denali Park before and here are a few of the things we did. These are offered through the Park Service and you can get more information at the Visitors Center. In fact you can get a daily schedule there of the different programs that the rangers and park staff are putting on.

Discovery Hike - hikes led by rangers are scheduled each day. We had a great hike along a braided riverbed with a terrific ranger. It looked like rain in the morning, so we ended up being the only two that went on the hike - it did not rain and we had a great time! The ranger taught us lots about animal tracks along the river, which was very interesting.

Sled Dog Demonstration - a ranger gives a talk several times a day and there is a demonstration where the dogs run a sled on wheels. It was fun to see the dogs and their enthusiasm. You have to take a bus from the visitors center.

Hope this helps!
