Boy, Ngaire, are you talking our language with a Machu Picchu and Galapagos/LEGEND package. We had to cancen our 2004/2005 through the Panama Canal to Lima with the ultimate destinagtion being Machu Picchu. Still want to do the Panama Canal. But the real ultimate South America destinations are Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands. To visit both destinations in relative style strikes me as a MUST DO.
