If there is a connecting flight involved I have always adopted the process of printing out, in 2 inch high letters , the arrival airport code. I then staple or glue it to two sides of the luggage.Red is my colour of choice !! We have made many 'multiple flights' and never lost a bag. Several check-in counter people have complimented me on the idea.
