We were on the 8th floor for two weeks, end of Aug, first of Sept and never noticed odors anywhere on the ship! We were in a sitting room and it felt very roomy to us; we had previously sailed on the PG. I'm sure the newer, larger ships are more luxurious but we enjoy the more intimate environment of the small ones and can overlook a few scrapes and scratches that occur over time.
