Alan & I could have had that invigorating experience. Just wasn't meant to be. Diane, the bears are now less than a year away.
Betty, don't be too disappointed by missing bridge walk. I planned to do it after I had climbed Ayers Rock (Uluru) until I learned you are tethered on bridge walk and can't take a camera - there was no real challenge. Climbing Ayers Rock was "free" - but it did cost a bit to get there.
