Wouldn't sunscreen keep you from burning while taking medicine? As long as you wear a sunscreen over your self bronzing creams, I think you should be ok.

Also, face creams containing Alpha Hydroxy (which I swear by!) will also increase sunburn. I use a alpha hydroxy cream that contains sunscreen as does my foundation.
