We sure have had a nice time here in Bermuda. The skies are blue and nice moderate temps. We went on board the Mariner yesterday with Mike & June Gittings....fun time! We saw many staff we've known from our previous 4 trips on the Mariner (most recently LAMB) in December. Joanna, we saw our butler Suweco (or whatever his name is). We couldn't spend a lot of time with John Barron because the ship was loaded with Apollo people (maybe came to see how their investment is doing ??) Mark Conroy was also on board the Mariner for the day. I believe he's now back on board the Voyager with us. Anyway, we had a nice time. Unfortunately, we weren't able to connect with Capt. Philippe. He too was tied up with visiting "brass". Later Mike was able to have tea with him but by then Tom and I were long gone.

Last night we ended up canceling Jimbo's truck stop in favor of eating at a local pub style sports bar with another couple and watching the Laker vs. Denver NBA playoff. Lakers won so it was a good night!

Today we had a bloody Mary party here on our pool deck for everyone from the Mariner to come over. Again, it was fun seeing familar passenger faces and meeting new friends. Beautiful weather again!

The Mariner just sailed away and it was so fun as they passed us on the Voyager. All the passengers were outside on balconies and upper decks waving back and forth with music like "Somewhere Beyond the Sea" blaring. It is amazing how many of the crew have friends and relatives on the Mariner and visa versa so it was a special treat for the staff to reunite. A number of the passengers on the Voyager will be getting off the Voyager on Wednesday and getting on the Mariner (both ships are in FLL together) to cruise for 17 days back to California. What a way to return home! Their luggage was transported off the ship today onto the Mariner so they will only have to clear customs once....in San Francisco. We're sorry we didn't pay attention to how doable this would have been for us had we planned ahead.

BTW, for those of you who remember Mike Gittings from MUSH or other cruises....He is so lucky! He has NEVER played bingo in his life but comes day one and wins the cover-all. He came the next day, won another game, then the 3rd day wins yet again. He's 3 for 3 on Bingo! I've won a couple of games myself but there's people who have been on for 3 1/2 months and haven't won!!

Tonight we're having dinner with friends,(Linda & Chuck Walker and Dana & Jamie in LaVeranda. Sad to think that this cruise will be ending soon. Tomorrow is Tom's birthday!!

More later....
