Thanks for everyone responding. We have a nephew who works for a large engineering concern in Plainfield. Aside from that, all I know is that it's pretty far by Chicago standards from Highland Park - but only a train or two away, I guess. We're transplanted Southern Californians who love Chicago but not "this" kind of winter weather. Guess we were spoiled by the relatively mild winters the past 4 years. From what we've read, the Terrace Cafe is definitely something we'd like to do at least a couple of times. Also, some of the island stops are certainly not the norm for Caribbean cruises and is also one of the reasons the cruise caught our fancy. Well, I guess we can celebrate that we didn't get the 5 inches they said we would. Of course, freezing rain is no laughing matter. OK, well that's it for today! Later, Jeff
