The deal at Newark Airport proper is: the local kids take the bus to the airport with their shovels. They wait around for people coming out with luggage, then the haggling begins in earnest. For $20 (give or take), you'll be shoveled out in no time. The cars next to you, of course, will bear the brunt of the cleared snow. Cash in and create new demand - you gotta love it.
I plan to call the off-airport parking place we use to see if they are accepting new cars. If not, break out the bubbly and bring on the lounge on wheels!

Anne...my daughter flew home to EWR yesterday - their car was in long-term parking. Someone helped them shovel at no-charge. Maybe they looked pretty helpless with two kids in tow, who knows. They had plenty of shoveling to do at home, they live south of Newark in the 32" area!
