I have been watching all the memorials on TV from time to time all day. It was wrenching to see the faces of some of the survivor's families this morning at the memorial service. And then when you think of all that has happened in the aftermath, in Afghanistan and Iraq, and all the loss of life, this tragedy has extended itself to 1,000 more. My heart goes out as well to the soldiers who had to lose their lives because of this horrific event.
