I make salmon a few times a week and some of my favorites are to glaze the filets 5 minutes before they are finished with a spicy black bean chili sauce which is available in most upscale markets, its made by chinablue. They have a web site so you can order from there if need be.
I also take some crushed garlic, olive oil, sesame seeds and fresh parsley and let the filets sit and soak in this mixture for a few hours, yum!
I make a mixture of mustard, maple syrup, teriyaki sauce and lemon juice to taste and bake the filets in that.
I also use all different types of bar b que sauce as a finish 5 minutes before they are finished.
Let me know if you try any of these yummy tricks. We are having salmon tonight. Enjoy!!!
