I join R. in wishing you a long, lovely doc dance. You've got a great itinerary and I hope you really enjoy the ship as well as the ports.

The "c" category suites are the same size as the "h" through "d" categories. The balcony is about twice as big. If you get 877/878 or the comparable end cabins on deck 10, the balcony is simply huge with a 270 degree view. The drawback of the Deck 10 corner "c" suites is they are directly above the La Verandah outside seating area. As that area gets washed down & set up, it may interfere with your early morning time in the suite. Deck 7 is a good location. There's a fair bit of discussion about the "c" category suites on the Voyager. You can do a search on this site regarding the degree to which folks have felt vibrations and/or had more creaking if they have suites that are back of the laundry room/rear elevator section of the ship.

We had the "c" suite in April 2004 and had one or two nights out of 14 that the vibration or creaking was bothersome. We also had a wonderful balcony and enjoyed it very much. It's a trade-off. I believe the ship has had a dry dock since then; have not sailed so do not personally know what, if any, difference is noted for vibration or creaking in these suites.

Some folks have no issues; some feel the vibrations but are only slightly concerned; and a smaller group have had serious difficulty with the vibrations. The vibration issue and potential solutions have been included in at least a few drydocks since the ship was launched. That said, there are times when you may well feel a vibration (it may be in the Horizon Lounge, it may be in La Verandah and it may be in the "C", "h", further back "g", "f", "e", "d", "b" or Seven Seas aft suites.

Hope that helps. Cheers, Anne
