Re: electric bill - I didn't even open until I knew it was about due date - HIGHEST EVER in 41 yrs!
As cold as I was this winter and swore I wouldn't complain about heat, I guess I lied! I think the only thing worse was the summer of 1980 when it was 105 for many days and I was in the mountains with no AC and few places to find it, except in the car and the AC grocery store, BUT I was 30 yrs younger!!
