The tragic thing is that I didn't make it up; I heard it at my office! And this was a conversation among degreed marketing people!! I just hope that they use grammar-check when they send in expensive advertising text. Frankly, I think that I learned better grammar in my one-room/eight-grade school house (very Norman Rockwell) than most kids learn today in their campus-style schools.
