First time I saw him was in Vegas in 1974. I still do not know what I did to get a table right at the stage. I assume I gave a higher denomination bill than I thought to the Maitre'd.
We ended up being part of the show. He did a routine about my then-wife's brother once he heard who he was. They were the 2 3rd string running backs at Temple together. Just like last week, Coz went on & on in Vegas - went way over his time. It was his last night & he said What The HEck & just kept telling story after story.
Another nice part of sitting right at the stage for that show was that his opening act was Juliet Prowse. I will not comment further!
