Thank you for a truly outstanding OCS Induction ceremony yesterday.

Please, pass Ida and my special thanks to Brad Booth and his team for a spectacular OCS Induction ceremony and events. His exceptional passion for OCS and his team’s extraordinary attention to every detail, left Ida and I speechless and moved.

We were “eagles” soaring with stars among true combat veterans. Ft. Benning’s OCS ceremony
Was the most magnificent we have ever been part of. Of special note, was the meticulous
Planning that allowed all of us alumni to constantly speak with and get to know your
Remarkable young Candidates.

These Second Lieutenant’s to be, are true “golden nuggets.” Every one we met was filled
With a wonderful success story (Iraq Veteran, Guard vet who served six years to return
To college and despite enticing job offers, goes to OCS, etc). Their brilliance will shine on their new soldiers and help lead our Army into the 21st Century.

I left Ft. Benning last night, knowing our Army’s young commissioned leadership is in sensational shape. Ft. Benning’s leadership, Brad Booth’s special leadership & passion and your TAC NCO’s
And TAC Officers have developed leaders who will move our Army forward in leaps and bounds. I am truly humbled and proud to be a part of the OCS legacy.
